Job 34

PẸLUPẸLU Elihu dahùn o si wipe,

Furthermore Elihu answered and said,

Ẹnyin ọlọgbọ́n, ẹ gbọ́ ọ̀rọ mi, ki ẹ si dẹtisilẹ si mi, ẹnyin ti ẹ ni ìmoye.

Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.

Nitoripe eti a ma dán ọ̀rọ wò, bi adùn ẹnu ti itọ onjẹ wò.

For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.

Ẹ jẹ ki a ṣà idajọ yàn fun ara wa; ẹ jẹ ki a mọ̀ ohun ti o dara larin wa.

Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.

Nitoripe Jobu wipe, Olododo li emi; Ọlọrun si ti gbà idajọ mi lọ.

For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.

Emi ha lè ipurọ si itọsí mi bi, ọfa mi kò ni awọtan, laiṣẹ ni.

Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression.

Ọkunrin wo li o dabi Jobu, ti nmu ẹ̀gan bi ẹni mu omi.

What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water?

Ti mba awọn oniṣẹ ẹ̀ṣẹ kẹgbẹ, ti o si mba awọn enia buburu rin.

Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.

Nitori o sa ti wipe, Ère kan kò si fun enia, ti yio fi ma ṣe inu didun si Ọlọrun,

For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.

Njẹ nitorina, ẹ fetisilẹ si mi, ẹnyin enia amoye: odõdi fun Ọlọrun ti iba fi huwa buburu, ati fun Olodumare, ti yio fi ṣe aiṣedede!

Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.

Nitoripe ẹsan iṣẹ enia ni yio san fun u, yio si mu olukuluku ki o ri gẹgẹ bi ipa-ọ̀na rẹ̀.

For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.

Nitõtọ Ọlọrun kì yio hùwakiwa, bẹ̃ni Olodumare kì yio yi idajọ po.

Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

Tani o fi itọju aiye lé e lọwọ, tabi tali o to gbogbo aiye lẹsẹlẹsẹ?

Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?

Bi o ba gbe aiya rẹ̀ le kiki ara rẹ̀, ti o si gba ọkàn rẹ̀ ati ẹmi rẹ̀ sọdọ ara rẹ̀,

If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;

Gbogbo enia ni yio parun pọ̀, enia a si tun pada di erupẹ.

All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.

Njẹ nisisiyi, bi iwọ ba ni oye, gbọ́ eyi, fetisi ohùn ẹnu mi.

If now thou hast understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.

Ẹniti o korira otitọ le iṣe olori bi? iwọ o ha si da olõtọ-ntọ̀ lẹbi?

Shall even he that hateth right govern? and wilt thou condemn him that is most just?

O ha tọ́ lati wi fun ọba pe, Enia buburu ni iwọ, tabi fun awọn ọmọ-alade pe, Alaimọ-lọrun li ẹnyin?

Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye are ungodly?

Ambọtori fun ẹniti kì iṣojuṣaju awọn ọmọ-alade, tabi ti kò kà ọlọrọ̀ si jù talaka lọ, nitoripe iṣẹ ọwọ rẹ̀ ni gbogbo wọn iṣe.

How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.

Ni iṣẹju kan ni nwọn o kú, awọn enia a si di yiyọ lẹnu larin ọganjọ, nwọn a si kọja lọ; a si mu awọn alagbara kuro laifi ọwọ́ ṣe.

In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.

Nitoripe oju rẹ̀ mbẹ ni ipa-ọ̀na enia, on si ri irin rẹ̀ gbogbo.

For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.

Kò si òkunkun, tabi ojiji ikú, nibiti awọn oniṣẹ ẹ̀ṣẹ yio gbe sapamọ si.

There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

Nitoripe on kò pẹ ati kiyesi ẹnikan, ki on ki o si mu u lọ sinu idajọ niwaju Ọlọrun.

For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.

On o fọ awọn alagbara tútu laini-iwadi, a si fi ẹlomiran dipo wọn,

He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their stead.

Nitoripe o mọ̀ iṣẹ wọn, o si yi wọn po di oru, bẹ̃ni nwọn di itẹrẹ́ pọ̀.

Therefore he knoweth their works, and he overturneth them in the night, so that they are destroyed.

O kọlu wọn bi enia buburu, nibiti awọn ẹlomiran ri i.

He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;

Nitorina ni nwọn pada kẹhinda si i, nwọn kò si ti fiyesi ipa-ọ̀na rẹ̀ gbogbo.

Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:

Ki nwọn ki o si mu igbe ẹkún awọn talaka lọ de ọdọ rẹ̀, on si gbọ́ igbe ẹkún olupọnju.

So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.

Nigbati o ba fun ni ni irọra, tani yio da a lẹbi, nigbati o ba pa oju rẹ̀ mọ, tani yio le iri i? bẹ̃ni o ṣe e si orilẹ-ède tabi si enia kanṣoṣo.

When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:

Ki agabagebe ki o má ba jọba, ki nwọn ki o má di idẹwo fun enia.

That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.

Nitoripe ẹnikan ha le wi fun Ọlọrun pe, emi jiya laiṣẹ̀?

Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:

Eyi ti emi kò ri, iwọ fi kọ́ mi, bi mo ba si dẹṣẹ, emi kì yio ṣe bẹ̃ mọ́.

That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.

Iṣe bi ti inu rẹ pe, on o san ẹ̀san pada? njẹ on yio san a pada, iwọ iba kọ̀ ọ tabi iwọ iba fẹ ẹ, kì iṣe emi, pẹlupẹlu kili iwọ mọ̀, sọ ọ!

Should it be according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.

Awọn enia amoye yio wi fun mi, ati pẹlupẹlu ẹnikẹni ti nṣe ọlọgbọ́n, ti o si gbọ́ mi.

Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken unto me.

Jobu ti fi aimọ̀ sọ̀rọ, ọ̀rọ rẹ̀ si ṣe alaigbọ́n.

Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.

Ifẹ mi ni ki a dán Jobu wò de opin, nitori idahùn rẹ̀ nipa ọ̀na enia buburu;

My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.

Nitoripe o fi iṣọtẹ kún ẹ̀ṣẹ rẹ̀, o papẹ́ li awujọ wa, o si sọ ọ̀rọ pupọ si Ọlọrun.

For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.
